Crock-Pot French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. onions or 5 c.
    7 c. hot water
    1/4 c. butter
    8 beef bouillon cubes
    French bread
    Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Peel onions and slice or chop; brown lightly in butter.
    Pour onions in crock-pot.
    Add water and bouillon cubes.
    Mix and cover.
    Cook on low 7 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours.
    Put in serving bowls.
    Add slice of toasted French bread.
    Top with grated Mozzarella cheese.
    Put in oven or microwave until cheese is melted.
    Serve piping hot.
