Soft Dough Spice Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Blend in unbeaten eggs and molasses.
Sift flour with soda, spices and salt.
Add to creamed mixture gradually.
