Whipped Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    After adding 1 egg at a time and beating 1 minute after each, reduce speed of mixer and add flour and cream (not whipped) alternately.
    Add vanilla extract.
    Pour into greased, lined tube pan.
    Put into cold oven and bake at 275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for 1 hour without opening the door.
    Turn cake around and cook 20 minutes more, or until done.
