Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. syrup
    2 sticks oleo
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, cream of tartar, syrup and oleo together. Boil for 5 minutes.
    Add baking soda.
    After foaming stops, pour over popcorn and mix.
    Pour onto 2 cookie sheets; press down. Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Store in tightly covered container. Makes 6 quarts.
