salted peanuts
2 c. sugar
Preparation

Spread salted peanuts on a buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
Put sugar in a heavy skillet and stir it over medium heat until it is completely melted and free of lumps.
Pour quickly over the peanuts and leave alone until it's hard.
