Kentucky Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs, separated
1 small can crushed pineapple with juice
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Beat egg whites stiff.
Mix together flour, sugar, Crisco oil, cinnamon, egg yolks, pineapple, juice and nuts.
Fold in egg whites.
Grease tube pan and flour.
Place in cold oven and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
After cake is cool, pour on running icing.
