Tuna Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. medium noodles
    1 (6 1/2 or 7 oz.) can tuna, drained
    1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1 c. sliced celery
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. milk
    4 oz. sharp processed American cheese, shredded (1 c.)
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped canned pimento (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
    1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Cook noodles until tender; drain. Combine noodles, tuna, mayonnaise or salad dressing, celery, onion, pepper, pimento (if using) and salt.
    Blend soup and milk; heat through.
    Add cheese; heat and stir until cheese melts.
    Add to noodle mixture.
    Turn into a buttered 2-quart casserole.
    Top with almonds, if desired.
    Bake, uncovered, for about 20 minutes.
