Apple Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. bacon fat
    2 c. diced, unpeeled tart apples
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt bacon fat in a skillet.
    Add apples and sugar; cook over medium-low heat, stirring for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; toss in the crumbs, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    This is a nice alternative for holiday cooking.
