Ingredients

6 medium yams, cooked, peeled, quartered or 2 cans (17 oz. each) yams, well drained
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. heavy cream or half and half
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Place yams in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
In saucepan, mix remaining ingredients.
Stirring constantly, bring to boil and boil 5 minutes.
Pour over yams. Bake, basting often, 15 minutes more.
Serves 6.
