Hot Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    10 whole cloves
    2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
    4 c. grape juice
    2 c. orange juice
    orange slices (optional)
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Strain mixtures, discarding spices.
    Gradually add fruit juice to hot mixture and heat thoroughly.
    Garnish with orange slices if desired.
    Yields 10 cups.
