Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. milk with 1 tsp. lemon juice
    3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 lb. candy orange slices
    1 small pkg. dates
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 can coconut
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add milk and flour.
    Chop candy, dates and nuts and dredge in 3 tablespoons flour.
    Add coconut and add to batter.
    Bake in angel food cake pan at 300\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Combine 1 cup orange juice and 2 cups powdered sugar.
    Pour over cake as soon as removed from oven. Let stand overnight.
