Pineapple Pecan Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. frozen orange juice, thawed
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can (1 c.) crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and shortening; add egg and beat well. Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with orange juice to creamed mixture; stir well after each addition.
    Stir in undrained pineapple and nuts.
    Turn into well-greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
