Pear And Pineapple Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck pears, peeled and ground up
    1 or 2 large cans crushed pineapple
    1 (5 lb.) bag sugar
    2 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
Preparation
    Mix together fruit and sugar.
    Do not drain pineapple.
    Bring slowly to boil and cook slow until fruit is done and jelled, stirring often.
    Add the Jell-O and cook 5 to 10 minutes longer, stirring constantly.
    Spoon hot preserves into sterile jars and seal.
    Real good.
