Six Layer Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage or ground beef
    1 1/2 c. sliced raw potatoes
    1 c. sliced raw onions
    1 c. sliced raw carrots
    1/2 c. Minute rice
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Lightly brown sausage or beef; drain on paper towel and cut into
    small
    pieces.
    Into
    a 2-quart buttered casserole, place vegetables
    in
    order given (potatoes, onions, carrots, rice
    and crushed
    tomatoes).
    Sprinkle
    with
    the
    seasonings mixed together and top with sausage or beef and cover.
    Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350\u00b0.
