Soft Molasses Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Sift flour, cinnamon, baking soda, sugar and ginger together. Add shortening, beaten egg and molasses.
    Add boiling water last. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
