Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter (oleo)
1/4 c. condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
2 bottles maraschino cherries, well drained

Preparation

Cream sugar and oleo; stir in milk a small amount at a time. Blend in vanilla and salt.
Mixture may be slightly dry.
Coat each cherry with mixture.
Dip cherries in mixture.
Place on wax paper with toothpick to harden.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
