Chili Verde(Green Chili) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pork steaks
1 large onion, chopped
5 Tbsp. flour
4 c. water
1 clove garlic, diced
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
2/3 tsp. ground cumin
2 (7 oz.) cans whole green chilies, chopped
Preparation
-
Cut fat off steaks.
Cut steaks into bite sized pieces.
Fry until well done.
Remove meat and fry garlic and onion.
Remove garlic and onion.
Make gravy with drippings, flour and water. Return meat, garlic and onion to gravy with all other ingredients. Simmer.
Add 2 or 3 hot Fresno chilies, if desired.
