Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. shallots, minced
    1/2 c. rice
    1/4 tsp. garlic, minced
    1 c. chicken stock
Preparation
    Melt butter and saute shallots until transparent.
    Add rice and garlic and cook, stirring, about 5 minutes. Don't brown.
    Add boiling chicken stock.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 15 to 18 minutes. Serves 2 to 3.
