Caramel Walnut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted flour
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
    24 caramels
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and egg. Cut in 1/2 cup margarine until crumbly.
    Stir in walnuts. Reserving 2 cups crumb mixture, press remainder firmly on bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 15 minutes.
