Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 lb. chuck steak
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 tsp. salt
    6 medium onions, chopped
    12 whole mushrooms
    butter
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and pepper; pound into steak.
    Brown steak in hot oil.
    Saute onions and mushrooms in butter.
    Add tomatoes. Heat to boiling.
    Place steak in baking dish.
    Pour tomato mixture over steak.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
