Beef Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce or 1 (16 oz.) Ragu (if using Ragu, add only a bit of water)
Preparation
    Mix beef, rice, onion and seasoning.
    Form into small balls. Fry in oil until light brown on all sides.
    Add tomato sauce and water.
    Mix well.
    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
    Yields 4 servings.
