Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder (or 1 1/3 c. self-rising flour)
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 (15 oz.) can corn, drained
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Blend milk and egg.
    Stir in corn and drop from a tablespoon into deep hot fat. Fry until brown, approximately 4 to 8 minutes.
    Drain on paper towels.
