Vegetarian Nachos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. tortilla chips
    16 oz. can refried beans
    1/2 c. shredded lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 c. salsa
Preparation
    Heat the refried beans.
    On a large platter, assemble the ingredients in layers:
    first the chips, then the beans, then the lettuce, tomatoes, onion, half the cheese, the salsa and the rest of the cheese.
    Put in the broiler for 2 minutes and serve.
