Mom'S "Goulash" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 to 3 carrots, scraped
    3 to 4 potatoes, peeled
    2 medium onions, peeled
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Brown
    ground
    beef
    in
    large skillet; drain.\tQuarter potatoes, carrots and onions and place on top of browned beef. Add water to fill pan to depth of 1/2-inch and salt and pepper to taste.
    Bring
    to
    simmer.\tCover and cook 15 to 20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
    Serves 4.
