Steak Mardi Gras - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 beef flank steak
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (12 oz.) jar homestyle mushroom or brown gravy
1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. gourmet wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. granulated sugar
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation

In large skillet, cook steak in oil to desired doneness, turning once; remove and keep warm.
In same skillet, stir in remaining ingredients; heat until bubbly.
Thinly slice steak diagonally across the grain; spoon sauce over.
Serve with rice, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
