Cream Of Chicken Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    1 c. melted butter
    1 c. flour
    1 qt. cream (heavy whipping)
    1/4 c. chicken base
    2 c. diced, cooked chicken
    2 diced, peeled potatoes
    4 diced carrots
    2 diced onions
    2 shallots, diced
    1 large leek, sliced into long strips
    1 Tbsp. garlic
    1 small pkg. frozen peas
    1 small pkg. frozen corn
Preparation
    Mix butter and flour together to thick consistency.
    Set aside.
    In a pot, bring water to a boil.
    Add chicken base; dissolve.
    Add butter and flour mixture.
    Lower heat and let simmer.
    Add remaining ingredients; let simmer for a long, long time.
