Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt.
    Add eggs and beat 3 minutes.
    Drain off 1/2 cup juice from fruit cocktail and add the rest to mixture.
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan and pour in batter. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over top before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
