Clark'S Oatmeal Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 c. quick oats
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 egg
    6 1/4 c. flour or more
Preparation
    Place yeast in a small bowl with warm water.
    In an extra large bowl put oats, boiling water, molasses, shortening and salt. Cool this to lukewarm.
    Stir yeast and add beaten eggs, mixing well.
    Add flour, 2 cups at a time, mixing well.
    Add a little more flour if it feels too thin.
    Grease top of the mixture and let rise for 2 hours.
    Shape into rolls and place in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Let rise in a warm place until double in size.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
