Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. flour
    juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine
    egg yolks, sugar, flour, lemon juice and lemon rind in\ttop
    of
    double
    boiler.
    Stir\tin 1 1/2 cups boiling water; cook
    over\tmedium\theat until thickened.
    Remove from heat; stir in\tbutter.
    Cool, then pour into pie shell.
    Beat egg whites until
    soft
    peaks form.
    Add sugar to sweeten and vanilla (gradually), beating until stiff but not dry.
    Spread meringue over
    filling.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until meringue is delicately browned.
