Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Crisco oil
2 whole eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda (even if using self-rising flour)
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal. Set aside to cool while you prepare batter. Add all the ingredients well. Then mix oats mixture. Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
