Spicy Dilled Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. cracked pepper
    1 lb. small white onions, peeled
    1/4 c. minced fresh dill
    1/2 c. olive or salad oil
    2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. whole waxed beans
    1 lb. whole green beans
    1/4 lb. cherry tomatoes
Preparation
    One or two days before serving:
    In large stainless steel-lined saucepan, mix vinegar, oil, garlic, salt and pepper over medium heat.
    Bring to boiling.
    Lower heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Pour into 2-quart, shallow glass baking dish; cool completely.
