1 (6 to 7) lb. boneless, fully cooked ham
1 can (about 1 lb.) black sweet cherries with or without pits
    2 medium oranges (2/3 c. juice)
    1 lemon (3 Tbsp.)
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. dry sherry
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
Drain juice from cherries into saucepan.
Add juice from oranges and lemon, then add ginger, brown sugar and sherry. Place on low heat and stir occasionally to make sure sugar is dissolved.
