Cranapple Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 (4-inch) cinnamon sticks
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    pinch of salt
    3 1/2 c. Burgundy, chilled
    3 c. cranapple juice, chilled
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and chill 8 hours.
    Strain and discard cinnamon and cloves.
    Combine syrup mixture, Burgundy and cranapple juice. Yields 7 1/2 cups.
