Inexpensive Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. boiling hot water
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat until light and fluffy eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Put butter in hot milk.
Beat in above mixture.
Add baking powder into mixture and mix quickly.
Cool.
Cut in half for 2 layers.
Add instant lemon pudding for 2 boxes.
Use 3 cups milk.
Spread between layers.
Frost with white or lemon creme frosting.
