Uncle Frank'S Delicious Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rolled oats
    2 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. honey
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    5 to 6 c. unbleached flour
Preparation
    In mixer bowl, put oats and boiling water; let sit for 1/2 hour.
    While it's still cooling, add butter, salt and honey.
    When the mixture is almost lukewarm, add yeast to 1/3 cup lukewarm water (110\u00b0).
    Allow dry yeast to soften for a couple of minutes before adding to oat mixture.
    Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, then knead for 10 minutes.
    Put dough in a greased bowl and turn dough to grease top.
    Cover and let rise until double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours.
