Karo Nut Pie(Makes 2 Pies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Karo syrup
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs; mix with sugar, syrup, melted butter and vanilla and add pecans.
    Pour into uncooked pie shell.
    Start at 400\u00b0 for a few minutes (10).
    Turn down to 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
