Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    6 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    4 large eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven at 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9-inch pan.
    In heavy saucepan, melt margarine and chocolate.
    Remove from heat and stir in sugar and eggs with wooden spoon until well blended.
    Stir in flour, vanilla, salt and nuts.
    Spread batter in pan.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
    Serve these warm from the oven with vanilla ice cream.
