Southern Sausage Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. mild pork sausage
1/3 c. green onions, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
1 1/2 tsp. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. finely grated Cheddar cheese (2 oz.)
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0 (375\u00b0 for dark nonstick pan).
Grease bottoms only of 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2 x 1 1/4-inch.
Cook and stir sausage and onions in 10-inch skillet until brown, crumbling.
