Chicken And Artichokes - cooking recipe

2 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler-fryers, cooked, boned and cubed
1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen artichoke hearts or 2 (14 oz.) cans, drained
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 c. (12 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. savory
1 tsp. thyme
2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Place chicken and artichokes in greased 14 x 11 x 3-inch baking dish.
Combine margarine, flour, cheese, nutmeg and broth in saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring often, until cheese is melted and sauce is thickened.
Pour sauce over chicken and artichokes.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs, savory and thyme on sauce and dot with margarine.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
