Fruit And Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine gelatin with boiling water to dissolve.
    Fold in all at once the strawberries, drained pineapple, bananas and walnuts. Turn half of mixture into a lightly oiled 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Refrigerate until this layer is firm.
    When firm, spread sour cream over first layer; gently spoon remaining strawberry mixture over sour cream.
    Chill until firm.
    Serves 12.
