Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. hot cooked rice or noodles
    1 lb. round steak
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    1 c. sliced green onion, tops and all
    2 green bell peppers, cut into strips
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. each: water and soy sauce
    2 large fresh tomatoes, cut into 8ths
Preparation
    While rice is cooking, pound steak to 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into 1/4-inch wide strips.
    Sprinkle with paprika and allow to stand while preparing other ingredients.
    Using a large skillet, brown meat in butter.
    Add garlic and broth.
    Cover in onions and green peppers.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Cover and cook 5 minutes longer.
    Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
    Stir into meat mixture.
    Cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and stir gently.
    Heat just to get tomatoes hot.
    Serve over fluffy rice or noodles.
