Fried Whole Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. young okra
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Cut off stem end and tip of okra pods; wash thoroughly.
    Cook in boiling salted water for 8 minutes.
    Drain and dry completely. Roll in seasoned cornmeal.
    Fry in deep fat (350\u00b0) or saute in butter until brown.
    Serves six.
