Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. broken walnuts
    3 well beaten eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift dry ingredients and stir in dates, nuts and eggs.
    Pour into greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
    Bake in moderate oven about 15 minutes.
    Cut while warm.
    Cool and remove.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
