Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Karo white syrup
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Cook sugar and syrup in heavy pan until syrup bubbles, then add nuts and cook until candy turns light brown.
    Add butter and soda.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir until butter is melted.
    Pour in buttered cookie sheet.
    When hard, break into pieces and store in airtight tin.
