Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon
1 medium head cabbage, cut into 1/8's
1 c. chopped onions (can also use green onions or even leeks)
Preparation

Steam the cabbage until tender, but not limp.
Fry the bacon until crisp and set aside.
Saut the onions in the bacon grease. Add the cabbage to the sauted onions; cover and cook until tender on medium heat.
You may need to add a little water depending on the water content of the cabbage.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Enjoy!
Serves approximately 8.
