Mom'S Green Chile - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. cooked pork roast or pieces, diced
    1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, cut up
    5 to 7 peeled, diced green chiles
    1/2 small onion, diced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can chicken broth (optional) with 1 c. water
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Save the juice the pork was cooked in or use canned chicken broth with water.
    Skim off fat from pork juice.
    Add water.
    In a deep pot, return pork juice and pork to boil.
    Add tomatoes, onion, chile and spices.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
