No-Bake Date Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups corn, wheat or bran flakes
3/4 cup pitted dates
1/2 cups pecans or walnuts
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
2 teaspoon lemon juice
3 tablespoon confectioners sugar
Preparation

Put the cornflakes, dates and pecans into an electric blender or food processor and whirl just until well chopped or crush the cereal with your hands and chop the dates and nuts with a knife. In a mixing bowl, combine the cereal mixture with the honey, butter and lemon juice.
Knead until well mixed, then roll into 1 inch balls.
Sprinkle with sugar on a
sheet of wax paper, and roll the balls in the sugar.
Store in an airtight container.
