Potato Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. diced potatoes
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. water
1/4 c. margarine
2 c. milk
1/3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. shredded cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp
Preparation
-
Combine potatoes, celery, onion, salt, and pepper.
Add water.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Do not drain.
Make cream sauce with margarine, flour, and milk.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Add bacon and undrained vegetables.
Heat - do not boil.
