Creamed Spinach - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
    2 strips bacon, chopped fine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
    1 c. half and half
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Thaw and then cook spinach for 4 minutes in salted boiling water.
    Drain and set aside.
    In a skillet, brown the bacon and onion.
    Add salt and pepper to bacon and onion.
    Set aside.
    Bring the half and half to a boil in a cooking pot.
    Melt the butter in a saucepan and add flour.
    Mix thoroughly and combine with the half and half.
    Cook until mixture thickens.
    Add the spinach, bacon and onions to the half and half.
    Stir thoroughly and heat. Serves 4.
