Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks (beat separately first)
2 c. grated carrot
4 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 egg whites (beaten until stiff)
Preparation

Mix oil and sugar; add egg yolks.
Mix carrots and water; add to mixture.
Sift flour with cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt; add to mixture.
Add nuts.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0. Cool.
Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting and store in refrigerator.
